Older Pictures of the T-18 and some text

At the moment I'm running around 11psi boost, electronic boost controller didn't work too well, I'm in the process of making a pneumatic boost controller with overboost, at the moment I have a hole in the hose which provides me with boost increase. I get excessive wheelspin at the moment, without an LSD it's really hard to get the power to the ground. The T50 gearbox is making noises while driving mainly 3rd gear seems to be very loud, but its a Toyota box, so its still holding together! I will have to replace it with the W55 soon, so another tailshaft will have to be made up, probably a one piece unit, replacing the current 2 piece.
I have already swapped the gearbox with a W58, and used a shortend RT104 tailshaft, and now I have moved overseas, and the car is currently doing nothing, waiting for me ;)

These are some thigs I was going to do to the car when I got back home around June/July 1999, but I am staying o/s a little longer... so they are still not done:
3 inch mandrel bent exhaust system
Fit the 550cc Injectors I bought some time ago
Get a front mounted intercooler made, to flow around 350hp
HiLux/Tarago diff ( after getting it narrowed ) with 3.7:1 or 3.9:1 center
Stiffer springs front and rear, and new adjustable shocks
Adjustable anti-roll bar, on the front
Longer/adjustable front lower arms, for negative camber

I have made a new page for the OLDER PICTURES that used to be on this page because this page took a long time to load (like it still doesn't..;) and also the story of my car can be found over here.
You can read about the 3T-GTEU into TE72 transplant over here
